April 30, 2016 - Stephen Maxwell

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Stephen Maxwell of the London Lightning has been named Player of the week ending January 24, 2016.

Maxwell, a 6'7" forward who played collegiately at Cal-State Northridge, averaged 22 points and 15 rebounds in two Lightning victories this week, helping London secure home court advantage throughout the Central Division playoffs.

January 31, 2016 - Nick Okorie

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Nick Okorie of the London Lightning has been named Player of the week ending January 31, 2016.

Okorie, a 6'1" guard who played collegiately at Texas Tech, averaged 23 points in London's three wins this week, helping the Lightning maintain a league-best nine-game win streak.


January 24, 2016 - Stephen Maxwell

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Stephen Maxwell of the London Lightning has been named Player of the week ending January 24, 2016.

Maxwell, a 6'7" forward who played collegiately at Cal-State Northridge, averaged 18 rebounds and 15.7 points per game in the London Lightning's three wins this week. Maxwell currently leads the NBLC in rebounding with 13.91 boards per game.


January 17, 2016 - Tyshawn Patterson

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Tyshawn Patterson of the London Lightning has been named Player of the week ending January 17, 2016.

Patterson, a 6'1" guard who played collegiately at Stetson, helped the Lightning in two big wins this week over the Niagara River Lions and Orangeville A's. He averaged 22.5 points per game on 51.4 percent shooting, adding 14 rebounds in 74 minutes of playing time.
